jebus197
So just out of curiosity, what ever happened to the iPod Linux project? Did they fold? Did everyone just lose interest? Their server is down and it seems to have been that way for a while.
Mouldy Punk
When I go to ipod linux's webpage it redirects me to http://cpanel2.sys-techs.net/suspended.page/ which would suggest to me that they're having problems with their hosting. Either they've gone over their monthly quota, their host has suspended their account for whatever reason (legal?) or they've cancelled their hosting or something. MrA
So iPod Linux is a dead project? No. From wikipedia: Server transitionOn June 11, 2008 the organization's website was suspended and replaced with a redirect to a blank page. Project leaders announced in their IRC channel that they were moving to a new dedicated server on a new location.

Elv13
It is probably not possible, apple (like always) worked hard to prevent that. The boot loader is not encrypted, without massive reverse engineering, it is almost impossible.
