Osiris Posted March 14, 2003 Share Posted March 14, 2003 You wouldnt think so but they have changed their strategy alot Longhorn was just meant to be a newer version of XP, and a filler to Blackcomb. It now looks like Longhorn will be the next major standard setting version, and blackcomb will just be an improvement on Longhorn. In the last 13 months they have changed their strategy a bit, and whilst I cant imagine MS going more then 1.5 years without something new it wouldnt surprise me, as it looks like Longhorn is going to be the next major OS not so much Blackcomb anymore.
