0 el_casho
ok, for a sports website :p
0 Mardagg
It's not just sports :), I just happen to be involved with alot of Madden projects. If anyone needs free subforum hosting for your clan or project just let me know.. I have plenty of room.
0 Gary King
It'd be better if it had more colour; the current style (black, gray, white) wouldn't be my #1 choice, really. But if you're aiming for a smaller audience, then it'd be alright (I guess).
0 Mardagg
Really, I'm suprised coming from your sig and avatar ;) I had the default blue for awhile, but it was so bright. I figured this was more web friendly..

I figured this was more web friendly.. lol, leave my sig and avatar out of this :p I don't know, I guess I just don't like using bulletin board default styles, because most forums already do so, so they all look the same (which doesn't make them look too good). If you're thinking of having a board with a fairly large userbase (I'd say about 500-1,000+ or so), then it'd be better to have a custom layout/style. But maybe that's just me
0 Mardagg
Yeah I think that's going to be something I look into doing. For now the users seem to be happy with the way it's setup. I was getting alot of negative response to the sports part of my forums, so I've tried to tone that down to make it more general user friendly. 0 Mardagg
Okay, I've revamped it quite a bit. I'd love to hear some comments about that changes.
0 Gary King
Nice job :) But the only difference that I can notice from the current site, and the way it looked before, is the portal. I guess that's it, right? Well, keep up the good work :)
0 Mardagg
I'm getting tons of traffic, but not many people are actually registering.
0 tytanic11
I think you need more computer/web design/graphics/games/etc forums. Then you'd probbably get more registered users - I'd probbabley be one of them..
0 Gary King
You're probably not getting too many new members, because your board doesn't really have one specific topic. Without a topic to focus on, there isn't really any reason for members to join, since there are plenty of other forums with no main topic where they can register. My best suggestion would be to focus on one specific topic. Also, once you have chosen a topic, try and make a layout that fits perfectly with the topic (i.e. some logos/pictures of sports players, etc.) :)
0 redrope
Is it ok to post a thread like this to show off your forum/site? I was just wondering because I may want to do one of my own, so I wanted to know if this is considered spam.
