How to mount a partition with full read write access with ntfs-3g?

Recommended Posts

Have you confirmed the mount command that works for you to manually mount the partition? If so, then you need to format that into an fstab entry.

Here are a couple of links, but I don't use NTFS, so am not 100% of which exact entry would be what you are looking for.

Yes. For the past few years it has had supported NTFS write in mainstream distros.

Must not.

Ubuntu seems to have had ntfs-3g since Fiesty. And it could be added in before that.

The second google hit on "pclos ntfs-3g" shows a how-to from 2007, so PCLOS could do it then too (even if it wasn't included on the CD, it is right there in the repos).
