CABHATSMARSP6776a
Both Rhythmbox, and XMMS play them though so why does listen not play them? I don't want to use either of the other two because they're buggy, and xmms lacks the media library feature, and this one looks pretty good, but yeah, no mp3 support? Edit: Google doesn't help at all, there's just way too many things to do with just listening.
LightIdea
What happens if you try and use Listen? Try re-installing the g-streamer modules again.
j.r.l.
Did you install gstreamer-plugins? Under Ubuntu, sudo apt-get install gstreamer0.10-plugins-ugly
CABHATSMARSP6776a
If I try use it it loads all my other formats except mp3's which (sadly) are the majority of my music collection. Did you install gstreamer-plugins?Under Ubuntu, sudo apt-get install gstreamer0.10-plugins-ugly Shouldn't those already be there for rhythmbox to play mp3's?
