Gazanfer
Hello all. I've been lurking here for quite some time, but never had something to say until now. I've learned so much here. Great site! Anyway, for the last two weeks i'm customizing windows xp heavily. But now i have 3 problems, which i couldn't find solutions to. 1. I need to add some items to context menu. Basically i would like to be able to create .html .php .js and .css files via context menu (under new). I tried tweakUI and TuneUp utilities, and i was able to add all of these file types, except css. It shows up in both programs, but not on context menu. I even deleted css file type from windows and re-created it, but it didn't help. any ideas? 2. I removed all unnecessary things from context > new menu, but whenever i run some programs, they add their extensions to the list. How can i prevent that? 3. I would like to be able to create a toolbar with all currently mounted drives, which is generated dynamically. So making a shortcut folder and putting all drive shortcuts in it doesn't work. Let's say i plugged in a flashdisk, i want it to show up in this toolbar just like in "my computer". I tried making a "my computer" toolbar, but it then shows unnecessary items like "my bluetooth places" in that menu, even though i have removed them from MyComputer using tweaking software (tweakUI or tuneup utilities, i can't remember now). How can i add such a toolbar so that it only shows currently mounted drives? thanks.
Kami-
Hi, 1. Edit Registry or use 'ContextAware' 2. No Idea. 3. Customised Shell... maybe? - Don't know off hand of any apps which do this.
