Yusuf M. Veteran Share Posted September 20, 2008 I was at a local Sam's Club and I saw the Canadian flag. For a moment, I was mesmerized by its beauty and I decided to capture that moment with my Canon EOS 450D (18-55mm kit lens). Click the image for a slightly larger version (700x471). :)

MasterC Share Posted September 21, 2008 nice pic on the bottom....looks like it would make a cool wallpaperand where did u take the top picture? Thanks :). I could package the bottom one into a wallpaper if you're interested. The top picture was taken in a place called Blackstar Canyon in Orange County, California. It's mainly known for an Indian massacre that happened there in 1831. Supposedly the canyon is haunted (see here. Check out the interactive map - it's pretty cool.) I was walking back up the slope with a friend, and thought the way the sun was setting gave off an interesting light, and would look interesting.
Ambroos Share Posted September 21, 2008 (edited) Editing in Lightroom still doesn't go like I want it to, but that might be because I'm not shooting in RAW (no money for more HD space/bigger CF), and my monitor is the biggest crap you can have for photo editing. saxondale. Share Posted September 21, 2008 The last. Oldish probably isn't the word but more of a pastel colour to it.
