Impact
Hey, so I downloaded the pry icons from the JonasRaskDesign website, and opened up Candybar, and started dragging the icons from the folder on to the icons I wanted to change in Candybar (yes, I made sure to download the mac version of the icons). The icons all showed up perfectly in Candybar, so I clicked apply and it logged me out. When I logged back in, all the icons weren't showing up correctly. I have tried clearing all the caches with onyx, and they still show up all wierd. I'm not exactly sure what could be causing this. I also left the folder with the icons in the same place the whole time, if that makes any difference. You'll be able to tell what I mean from the picture. Thanks for any help you may be able to provide (also, sorry for the crappy picture editing, I don't have a good picture editor yet lol).
giga Veteran Posted September 13, 2008 Veteran Share Posted September 13, 2008 Did you try a restart? Try a different icon set also. (instead of using the icns file, use the icontainer) Open up Candybar and see what it shows on the Change pane.
Impact
I have restarted. I'll try the icontainer and see how that goes.
giga Veteran Posted September 13, 2008 Veteran Share Posted September 13, 2008 I tested it and reproduced your problem. Don't drag icns files from Finder and over to the Change pane icons. Import them first into a collection. To fix it, I just dragged the icon out of the well and hit restore.
Impact
Ok cool. Yeah, using the icontainer worked for some reason, so thanks for helping me out.
