Go to a terminal and type in "su", then type in your root password. Then type "yum -y install kde" or if that doesn't work "yum -y install kde4", once the installation is done, log out.

Once you get back to the login screen, press F10, then "Select Session" and KDE should be there. Select it and log in as you would normally.

Hope that helps.

Do that

The trunk (unstable but with more cool feature like cube/genie effect for kwin and better apps) work fine, but you can use branch (most stable kde version)

It will install KDE in a directory (that you can delete if you want without side effect). You can then link /home/kde-devel/kde/bin to your main user path.

To update the whole KDE, just log as kde-devel and enter "cmakekdeall" it will update everything. The first install can take quite a while to compile depending of the power of your computer, but update only take few minute.

If you don't want to install the unstable trunk you can follow the details at the link below. You will have KDE 4.1.1 which is the latest stable and of course you can choose in the login screen between KDE and Gnome.
