Spore Galaxy map

Recommended Posts

hey, so i am wondering if there is such a thing as a spore galaxy map. I wondared off from my home planet in search of the Grox or whatever they are and can't find my way back.

has anyone created a map that shows the linkage between all blackholes in the game?

any help would be good,

thanks,

Rashid

that only works for so long, specially after you restart... it doesn't save your travel path. and also when you jump blackholes, it doesn't save what you did on the other side.... i am at a lost here. pirates and bad guys are raping my home planet and i am aimlessly flying around....

really not enjoying this game if i didn't want to see the ending i would have given up days ago.

haha trust me it gets hard to tell which black hole takes you where. you will find out after the first time you get lost. but i finally managed to get abck to my home planet and finish the game. not sure what the Grox had to do with the game, i finished going through the evolutions i guess, by just following a bunch of blackholes with the same prefix name

Hate to tell you this Rashid.. but.. your SOL. The galaxy map is randomly generated each time you play the game and create a new creature.

I'm sort of the walking Sporencyclopedia. If you need to know anything you can ask me. :)

If you went through as a herbivore, you'll have a "ticket home" (in the same section as the scan tool). Click it when on a planet and you go straight home. Pretty useful when you suddenly get the message that your home planet is under attack.

thats why you DON'T buy spore. :)
PS: Spore? = fail.

I could say the same about many games. That is beside the point though as rashidkaviani was asking for help, not immature opinions.

I had the same problem as you flying around space not being able to find any of the planets, and I have spent about the last todays flying around trying to find out where im ment to do these quests on other planets...

However the game does set out a clear path that you can follow around the solor system without getting lost really :s .. If you look down on the bottom left hand corner of the screen you will see it says "track quest" or something like that, if you have that on it makes it a lot easyer to get around without getting lost :D

Another thing is in the top left hand side of the screen where it tells you what quests your on and gives you a small deffinition of what you have to do, up there it says what "star system" your planet you are looking for is in. So if you just scroll out and look around the solor system you will find what "star system" you are looking for and then the list pops down of the planets which are located within that :D ...

Hope this helps in anyway, I would have uploaded pics but im at school right now :s Silly schools dont have Spore

You must be lucky, getting only missions for your star system and not the galaxy :p

Another one of those things in the bottom left shows you where missions are. On the ones where they say "the star system is located between 10 and 14pc from xxx system" you get a red ring showing you where the system will be. For "pirates/invaders are attacking" style missions the "communication icon" shows you where the system is too.

Yeah I must be :) , Im guessing from what your saying that every quest line is different which is something I didnt know lol :p thanks for the heads up on that. I just assumed that every quest line was going to be the same or ruffly the same if you went into a "religious" aspect when in the Civil age.

Sorry, what, there are blackholes? Where do they goto? :\ Perhaps I should continue to put up with the Space stage alittle while longer

Blackholes are what are in space, they lead you to places of the unknown, and basically what it looks like is a giant "blackwhole" ^^

and also you should keep playing this is a great game.

P.S. Sorry for having no screenshot ill get you one later on if no one has posted one up on this thread before I get home, Got school in 10min ZzZz :s

kinda of topic, but i'm seeing this game everywhere lately, is it any good? it seems like a really neat game. just wondering if it was worth picking up.

It is a good game IF you like to make silly things and bring them to life. You have to like really enjoy little things I guess you could say, I have a mate which got this game and he thought it was great at first but after getting into space then he thought that the game was rubbish. What im trying to say is, if you like taking your time, enjoying the world that your in, making things, and well there is a lot more that I cant really think of at the moment ^^ ...

But what I say is don't rely on reviews and what other people say until you play it though, that's what my mate did and well he quit the game because he though about the negatives :s

They are called Wormholes =) also, ironically, I find the quickest way back is to just die.

then why is it in game called a "blackhole key"? :p
