Is there any way to do this.I want to load those files to my windows setup so that if i format my computer and install the fresh copy i don't need to edit those files again. dreamz Veteran Posted September 22, 2008 Veteran Share Posted September 22, 2008 1. extract the source files to your computer. 2. compress your modified files (i'm assuming you're talking about dlls, cpls, etc.). check out compression bin for this: http://www.msfn.org/board/Compression-Bin-12-t80717.html 3. copy your compressed files to the source directory on your computer. 4. make a bootable cd using those source files. actually, while you're at it, you might as well use nlite to (i) put sp3 on it, (ii) modify your installation and remove components, (iii) create an unattended installation, and (iv) create an iso.
