So rarely have Visual Styles made me break out in fits of drool. This is one of them. I applied it .. instantly. It's beautiful, smooth, and a wonderful addition to any desktop.

no you don't need windowblinds. if you have patched vista with vista glazz then you just put it into the themes folder for Vista

I like parts of that, but somethings make me not want to use it, such as it not saying what window is what, only shown in the taskbar. But I wouldn't mind playing around with it

What a terrible skin. It really defines style over substance.

The window buttons are too small, it's almost monochromatic and there are no titles on the windows.

Once again, that is windows not the skin... in explorer in Vista there are no titles on windows... only in the classic skin are there titles on explorer windows

Yeah, but the buttons are still too small and that color spectrum... looks like it was designed for dogs.

Why can't MS hire designers like that for their UI team...

I think a statement like that is more so due to getting "used to" the current default VS of Vista than it is a knock on how much "better" this looks than default Vista, as in my opinion, this looks crap compared. :pinch:

Well, it doesn't define style over substance in any way.

I mean, yes, the titlebar buttons APPEAR to be very small (style), but in fact, the clickable area for the buttons is the same as in the default Aero (no loss of substance).

In terms of the taskbar buttons, yes the buttons have less clickable area, however, it grants you more desktop area. This is really a matter of preference.

As far as no titles on the windows, I take it that you're new to Vista. The explorer windows in Vista do not have titlebar text, and this skin doesn't change that behavior (no change in style or substance).

Lastly, the monochromatic thing is purely a thing of taste. Many people prefer that styling to a color-filled one. I'm guessing you're one of those guys who really liked Luna, right?

-------

That said, it's a bit dark for my tastes. I may pull some elements out of it to incorporate into my current visual style, but as-is, it makes my desktop feel a bit cramped.

looks generally well put together and smooth.

although im still loyal to the default aero skin, when looking through all the variety still looks and performs the best for my counterpart :)

Calling it terrible because you don't like it is rude. Keep you myopic and abusive opinions to yourself.

You seem to have a problem with opinions... why come to the forums?

I'll say it again, it looks terrible, TO ME. It's an opinion, I'm entitled to it, get over it.

Not really, I'm OK with it, but I prefer the classic window style.
