rootbeer556
Hi, I have a 1997 Isuzu Trooper and my speakers are the stock speakers. I am looking into buying a small sub for my car (strong enough to hear the bass outside of the car), while still keeping stock speakers. Does anyone have any recommendations? Plus, could someone please tell me the specifications on the stock speakers of the '97 Isuzu Trooper. Also, I am unfamiliar with car audio and how to find the best "stuff" for my car audio system, if anyone has any input, please tell! thank you, rootbeer556
Black Hawk
I'd personally suggest going to an audio shop but if you want to try it yourself you can. You're gonna have to tap into the speaker wires and find out which are the ones for the front two or rear speakers. With some amps you can directly connect the cables directly to an amp and from there to sub woofers. If you can't directly connect, you'll need a line out converter. On top of all that, you're going to need to run all the cables. From radio to amp and from amp to battery.

Nashy
What he said. If you don't know anything about car audio, you could damage the speakers or the sub.
