I have install debain onto my laptop and all is working fine. But with to upgrade know to the lastest version, Also what about firefox, i though i cant instal the lastest version, but it jsut installs 2.**. Do they not keep debain apt's up to date? Elv13 Posted September 27, 2008 Share Posted September 27, 2008 sudo nano /etc/apt/source.lst change refferences of "woody", "etch" or "sarge" to "sid" now do sudo apt-get update sudo aptitude dist-upgrade sudo aptitude upgrade now every apps will be up to date.
