I want to replace the default ubuntu icon with a custom start-here.png file I downloaded. can anyone give me instruction? step by step? Thanks! Open terminal 2. gconf-editor 3. apps > panel > objects > object_0 > write path to your icon in custom_icon e.g. /home/username/start-here.png (double click on free space) That's all :) Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
