Recommended Posts

I've downloaded and installed xwinwrap_0.0.0+svn20080417-1~getdeb1_i386 package, and wanting to use this.

Here's my xorg:

# nvidia-settings: X configuration file generated by nvidia-settings
# nvidia-settings:  version 1.0  (buildd@vernadsky)  Thu Jun  5 09:26:53 UTC 2008

# xorg.conf (X.Org X Window System server configuration file)
#
# This file was generated by failsafeDexconf, using
# values from the debconf database and some overrides to use vesa mode.
#
# You should use dexconf or another such tool for creating a "real" xorg.conf
# For example:
#   sudo dpkg-reconfigure -phigh xserver-xorg

Doesn't that just allow videos and such as the desktop background?

Put your video screen as favourites and get your desktop animated or put your favorite screen saver ;)

Take a look here -> http://es.youtube.com/watch?v=Z_Nt9UKvv-g :p

Sorry for not giving an explanation of how the "program"!

need to install xwinwrap and mplayer.

mplayer has been able to output to the root window (desktop background) as long as I have known.

mplayer -rootwin videofile.mpg
