I uninstalled it and ran ccleaner, deleted my account and created a new one but still get the same settings and all from previous install. You're welcome. You can create and delete groups but you can't have an online and offline group. Pidgin simply doesn't work like that. However, you can delete all the groups and create a new one titled "online".
