nero78
Does anyone know where i can find an email checker (for gmail, and pop3 and hotmail) that is in the sys tray and displays new emails in a beautiful way? Like the office 2007 popup. I like that.

phot0nic
You can try Digsby. It's an IM client that can also plug into Gmail, POP3, and IMAP. It has pretty nice email notification pop-ups. Plus, if you already use an an IM protocol that Digsby supports, you could kill two birds with one stone.

Scorbing
If you want something absolutely fancy and pretty, then Incredimail is for you. Personally I don't like it, but its email notifier is very cute and can be anything you want it to be. www.incredimail.com

Personally I don't like it, but its email notifier is very cute and can be anything you want it to be.www.incredimail.com ya, I used to use it. It was annoying because at the time (don't know if it's still like this) it only did POP3. I had to reformat one day and backed up the database for incredimail. Well, the database wouldn't import into the new installation. Hundreds of e-mails gone...I stopped using it right then and started using thunderbird. bradavon
Thunderbird, with the minimizer addon. This is the best one to go with, unless you use Hotmail and Windows Live Mail beats them all (even Outlook).
