I did BS (though Woodcutting earns more) to get enough gold to buy a house to marry, and then bought another and charged rent. Slowly but surely earning some gold.

Property. I started high and got the Bowerstone Inn ad my 1st and that gave me about 750 Gold every 5 mins. Also houses if you rent them out accumulate money while you are out of game so when you log back in you get a huge pile of money but they earn nothing close to what the storres and bars do while your in game. I'd save getting married until after you have a few other houses. Wives expect money so it's good to have the income coming in 1st.

ATM I own maybe 3/4 to 4/5 of the property in the game I think and I'm earning about 13k gold every 5mins or so. Money becomes really easy to come by. Each time I turn the game on depending how long I've been away I'm instantly getting another 50k+.

Also train your dog up in the book store on how to find items. I noticed I was able to find alot more money after I had the dog trained up and if working is boring you that will let you make money while questing.

woah, love the game.

just got from the spire after being there for ten years, it's great to see how the world has changed since you've been gone and how your choices and queests early in the game influence how it looks now

great suff.

thats quite a lot of money you're making 13k every 5mins... i'm making 1k per 5 mins and its doing me fine.

i started off by buying a few of the stalls in bowerstone, they make you a good 20-50 gold per 5 mins each depending on how much you charge and how corrupt you are. then worked my way up to owning the inn and the stylist's there

absolutely loving the game :D

In the spire atm, ****** keeps trying to steal my experience

whats the co-op like?

I wuv this game!

Not played too much of the story, been busy exploring and doing side missions. I'm playing the good way of life at the moment and I think I'll keep it up. Got married and a kid already by doing that quest from the ghost who wants you to seduce his ex-wife-to-be and then give her a note letting her down, but I chose to go ahead and marry her instead of giving her the note :)

I need to earn some more money then start getting into the property market more to make some money, but so far I'm absolutely loving the game!

Saw the little orb of PiracyXXX wandering around Bowerstone and sent him a nice beggars hat, hope he got it ok :p

There's ANOTHER "easy-money" glitch for anyone that wants one (this one is easier to do).

Step 1: Buy the jeweller's stand in Bowerstone (optional but it's cheap and will help get you started faster).

Step 2: Buy all of the expensive jewels you can (using the discount provided)

Step 3: Sell the Jeweller's stand

Step 4: Go to the general store in Bowerstone (It's right beside the entrance/bridge) and sell all the expensive jewellery for a good markup - should net some good cash

Step 5: Buy the General store and (using the discount provided) buy back all of the jewels

Step 6: Repeat steps 4 and 5 as necessary.

Depending on the Jewels you have, you can easily make 50,000G a pop.

It's got an gargoyle and silver key guide.

If it helps you can see how many keys and gargoyles you have found in each area from the menu area that you use to quick travel. It'll tell you at the bottom right.

Also depending where you are in the game you may need to come back to get some of them over time. Not all are immediately accessible. Actually to that end I find the best way to get them isn't to look for them as you may not be at a point where you can get them anyway. I'm into the 40's now and I'm pretty sure 90% of those I have found as a result of a quest or travel to town taking me past where they are. Just keep your ears open for them.

If by the end of the game you haven't got them you can probably worry about a guide then I guess. With some only attainable after certain plot events it may be that any guide will spoil the plot for you. Ohh and I was maybe 10 hours into the game before I even realised there was Gargoyles to collect but once I did they came in thick and fast.

Can't try this yet, but don't you need to

sell/re-buy the general store in between selling/buying the jewels back?

I just bought Brightwood Tower and Bowerstone Cemetery Mansion. They each have a quest tied to them, which tells you what to do once you buy the property. Brightwood Tower cost around 240k for me but gives you 100k at the end of the quest and the Mansion gives you the most expensive jewl in all Albion. I didn't check to see how much it was worth cause i had to go as soon as i finished the quest :pinch:

I get around 6.8k every 5 mins, i own alot of real estate and most prices are notched down for Purity and good economy

I am trying to go the "all good" route, will raising the prices like 20% hinder that for me?

yup, eventually you'll become 100 percent corrupt. If you want to stay good, you gotta lower it to like 50 percent at least. I did the same thing and while being all the way good, i am all the way corrupt to.

Is that a bad thing? Wouldn't you be able to acquire all the expressions from both good and corrupt now for "The Completionist" achievement?

Get a crowd (like a lot) of people to follow you down there, then sacrifice. Quite entertaining, plus alot of points as well lol

It's like oblivion in that the "main" story chain is just one part of a larger game.
Yeah......if u stick to the main path I suppose the game will last a few hours, but I beleive there is over 50+ hours of good gameplay in there, should you desire to venture ;)

lol Just kidding, I don't even have it yet, but it looks really good. But is the main story relatively short like the first Fable?

yeah from what i read in the reviews the main story is like 10 hours and the with the other quests its like 30+ hours. If you do all the side stuff there is a lot there.

To kick a chicken, walk up to it and press "A". I'm not sure why you didn't get any gold from the blacksmith, are you sure you didn't just make a mistake? It adds it to your account every time the money appears above your head.

If you want to make easy money, look on the previous page to your reply, there's an "easy money" glitch I posted.
