Smigit
Damn it you had me excited when you said it was free. The free download is just so you can play with someone that has the DLC, if you want to actually do any of the quests then you need to have payed be it co-opp or single. Pheee
if you go to Bowerstone Docks, where the guy is waiting to take you to the Island, talk to him, and you should get some free items.
Pupik
I wouldn't count on it, Molyneux is already working on sequels & other games. https://www.neowin.net/forum/index.php?showtopic=703466 And I heard nothing yet that says the rumor is false. DrunknMunky Veteran Posted January 13, 2009 Veteran Share Posted January 13, 2009 So we should start listening to every small time website that has a rumour now? There's not long to wait, but seeing as there is little over a month to go until it's supposed release, I wouldn't hold your breathe  That is unless of course they worked on both versions at the same time, but I doubt it. We'd still have an announcement by now, and CES would have been the time to do it.
Pupik
Yeah, but both Microsoft and Lionhead don't deny it. http://www.videogamer.com/news/01-12-2008-10066.html Someday, it will come (to the PC).
DrunknMunky Veteran Posted January 13, 2009 Veteran Share Posted January 13, 2009 That means nothing if neither deny it, infact, it's the reply they give to every rumour whether it turns out to be true or not. It's just their policy. Like I said, we'll find out on Feb 15th :p Anyone want to place some friendly bets? ;)
BoDEAN
Nice. I might start the game over with a new character. BTW Fable II DLC out now The Fable II Knothole Island DLC has now been released following its delay in December 2008. This DLC will cost 800 points and includes new weapons, creatures and adventures! Cheshire Cat
I have just finished the DLC and I have to say that the quest is pretty good and I love the new armor sets (apart from one I haven't got yet... Hunting for Murgo's Big Book of Trading sucks  ), although the new weapons I didn't like much to be honest  Give the Daichi anyday... However the new Augments are really awesome, insanely useful I found :D The weather effects for the island are pretty damn good (gotta love that heat shimmer) and I like the way the peoples clothes change according to if its snowing, sunny or raining
neoadorable
got the Knothole campaign, premium version, but can't get the main quest to advance. once i complete the first task, a new one doesn't come up and the story doesn't progress. anyone have this problem? Remysaus
leave the island and go back to get the next quest, i got it yesterday too, love the fact my dog's back, might get me back into the game, cause after losing the dog at the end of the game i didn't really feel like finishing off the remaining quests. :)

Doesn't that sort of cheapen the ending for those that chose the option to keep the dog purely because they wanted to keep it? I thought they'd have some balls and stick to their guns rather than going back on what was supposed to be the hardest decision to make in the game. Surely they always had expansions in mind so it makes me wonder why they even gave people the option to have the dog die if they are going to bring it back. Remysaus
you can sacrifice a human to trade for the dog, so it's optional and you get a few evilpoints.
Smigit
Yeah but evil points in Fable don't really matter much once your near the end of the game. I sat in one town killing people for an hour plus and still wasn't able to send my good character completly evil. I duno, for a game which was supposed to be about making tough choices, allowing people to sacrifice someone to get the dog back does seem a bit cheap. Granted I haven't played it so maybe it's a vital character your killing, I don't know.

.KICK
So for those who have got the premium DLC, is it a worthwhile purchase?
neoadorable
thanks Remy, will give it a try soon. i'd say it's worth getting the paid DLC, but more to show appreciation for Fable 2, it was a great game. on its own it may be a bit on the short side for an expansion pack. +longgonebn Subscriber² Posted March 21, 2009 Subscriber² Share Posted March 21, 2009 So I finally got to pick this game up (cause I finally got a 360) A wonderful game, had tons of fun with it, just completed the main quest stuff, and been doing a bunch of other things. I have a few questions, and probably will have more. 1, what do you suggest me complete/do/explore...and ideas, favs? Is there a way to get all achievements in one game, no restarts? Any good ways to get a TON of money, i have about 60000 right now, needs more, and what about getting all my skills (will and all that, seems like I am not getting many now that im done)... Thanks. Buy houses, just get a stack of cheap ones or whatever and then you will accumulate money overnight while you aren't playing. You can earn money faster by doing jobs but it's rather dull. Remysaus
Is there a way to get all achievements in one game, no restarts? don't think so, you can get the multiple endings by just saving right before the end and doing it over till you choose all available options though :p

There is only Continue, and it loads the latest files.
