single..

to be honest i dont know if its bad or good to be single. I am relatively pretty happy compared to most people in relationships i know.

+1 ;)

That's why it's better to let the time come by itself rather than forcing relationships... I know people that just cannot live a single part of their life being single, I don't understand that.

No, guys who don't like girls will most likely become homosexuals.

Mysoginist != homosexual. Grow up!

Recently seperated after being with someone for 12 years, 8 of which we were married. She left me for my boss (words cannot explain that feeling). Have 2 young kids, and feeling a little lost, though it's only early days (she left Jan 08).

Now that is cold! I mean, leaving with your kids!!!! Sorry man!

Yer I know the feeling

No you don't. You're young, single by your own admission, and insecure about that. This man has lead a married life, fathered children, and now is in this situation. You don't know that feeling at all. Neither do I!

Yer I know the feeling, feels like you've lost your purpose in life. Its like your whole life is leading up to this one moment and then you get dumped... just wanna bash your head against the wall n stuff. really SUX =[

I guess that's what happens to the "standard nerd". As the poll suggests we are mostly the losers when it comes to love,90% male who have been dumped like garbage.

How on earth can you say you know how it feels? Your 15? And have never had a girlfriend. Probably never been anywhere near 'in love'.

I can't even imagine the pain that he went through/is going through. My dad went through a similar thing. Was married to my mum for 14 years. She left in the blink of an eye, and left him with my sister and I. I was only 5 at the time though, so I didn't understand what was going on.

Anyway. My point.

You have no idea how he feels.

Divorced, now single, and staying that way. Women are evil, spawns of satan, each and every one of them. I can imagine a glorious world with nothing but robot porn stars and men. That world would rule. :p

broken up and hating relationships.

I recently went through a tough break up myself, it's funny because I know people like yourself have it so much worse when you have children involved and you're forced to still communicate. Despite that, I'm sorry to hear that.

I turned 21 in March, I just got out a relationship of a year with a girl(24) I had lived with. We broke up due to various reasons but the girl I met in February was only 18 and boy, I got my world turned upside down. I suppose I saw it coming though. The sex was stellar, and she always wanted to be around... but let's say she had emotional issues, maybe we all due but she had extensive ones.

This girl made me feel like we were going to be together forever. We also shared a lot of special occasions, my 21st, her 18th and her prom/graduation. We were never apart aside from her senior class trip for 9 days. Well, fast forward, I lost my job(where we both worked, and got the job together) in mid-July because I was a total douche to the management. A month later, she cheated on me and left me for one of her high school teacher (45 yrs old) and now we don't talk at all. Mainly by my choice but she hasn't really tried to contact me. All I know is that they're "serious" and she spends all of her time with him now. It's really been one of the most devastating experiences I've ever had.

I just have to post this. You guys are all lucky you can, despise the bad that has happened to some of you. I do feel bad for you, honestly.

But, im 18 going to be 19 and havent had a GF my wholeeee life. Now i know techinically i cant have a gf at age 4 or etc. Well what I mean is my WHOLE "dating" life. So around 10-11? what ever the age is at when people usually just start to like girls and etc.

My story is, Im born in america, RAISED Indian. I am the most Un Knowledged American Ever! There's many things i dont know as far as (actors, etc). Like I know the history, just all the "common" stuff people just happen to know, im one of the people that doesnt. Now i speak 3 languages fine, my 2 languages and English perfectly fine.

Now, the part most of you will find funny, I have an ARRANGED Marriage. I am not ARRANGED atm, My mother wants me to get a career so either a steady job now, or start college, finish, find a good job and then arrange me.

So, for those of you who despise dating and etc becuase of your bad experiences(i dont blame but..) I am the one who cant date ever.

My view is, I cant sleep next to someone I dont know. Yes, I mean sleep with in bed, not sex. So just being introduced and engaged and married to someone I dont know or met, and it all happens in a month. Usually less. As much time as the parents get, thats how faster it goes.

So yeah, think of my position.

    • "Of course the easiest solution is to switch to uBlock Origin Lite if you want to remain on Chrome, as it is MV3-based, but from our experience, uBO Lite does not seem to be as good as the original non-Lite version" In my experience uBlock Origin Lite does the job for normal everday home users. When they kill that we get to watch Firefox and Brave get a boost in user market share.
    • Block by DNS ad blocker! I dare you! I will even layer unlock Origin, on top of my internal DNS, if I need to and I don’t even block ads today (I really should but this type of behavior makes me angry). I suppose I could also just be lazy, and add the flags myself, back to each release (it wouldn’t be that difficult).
    • Wonder what MPs have ties to these privacy/verification/data harvesting companies that are going to step in this time. Last time under the Tories half the cabinet had fingers in the pies, heck even the PM and his wife at the time was working for silicon valley, probably made a fortune.
    • Google Chrome is killing all uBlock Origin bypasses, Microsoft Edge, Opera to follow by Sayan Sen For a while now the transition away from Manifest V2 (MV2) to MV3 has been on-going and it looks like it is entering its final phase of deprecation, at least, in the case of Google Chrome. A recent discussion thread in the w3c WebExtensions Community Group GitHub repo has highlighted how the latest and upcoming versions of the most popular browser are expected to be its final releases with support for MV2 extensions. Chromium contributor Andrey Bershanskiy shared details about recent Chromium changes and according to comments from Google engineer Devlin Cronin, Chrome has now started removing the flags that previously controlled MV2 availability. kExtensionManifestV2Disabled, the Chromium feature flag that allowed controlled disabling of MV2 add-ons, is now completely removed, which means you will likely no longer find uBlock Origin in your browser extensions list. He wrote: "The kExtensionManifestV2Disabled feature has been default-enabled for over a year. Remove the feature and the effectively-dead code. ... Any tests that relied on being in the "warning" phase (i.e., with the kExtensionManifestV2Disabled) for their sole behavior testing are removed, since this stage is no longer reachable." Cronin further explained why MV2 extensions are no longer allowed in supported Chrome versions as maintaining the associated functionality indefinitely is no longer possible. He cited growing technical difficulties and implementation complexities as well as security concerns. He wrote: "MV2 extensions are no longer allowed in any supported version of Chrome, and we are removing support for them and the associated functionality. We won't be able to provide / maintain this functionality indefinitely due to the complexity and tech debt, as well as the security risks it entails (we've actually found a number of bugs that are specific to MV2 lately). Of course, other browsers can continue supporting these if they so desire. Unfortunately, we won't be putting code behind a compilation flag ... We won't be removing all the MV2 code wholesale right away, so many of these things will continue working for awhile (but they will go away eventually, and some may go away sooner than others)." What this essentially means is that the tricks and bypasses that were used to keep MV2 extensions like uBlock Origin and others alive will not work any more on Chrome, or at least not for very long. For example the Windows Registry mod that could extend MV2 availability will cease to function after Chromium version 151. Here is a rundown of the changes coming in the final such releases of Chromium releases: Chromium 150 lost ExtensionManifestV2Disabled option Chromium 151 will loose ExtensionManifestV2Unsupported option Chromium 151 will loose ExtensionManifestV2Availability option Chromium 151 will likely loose AllowLegacyMV2Extensions option Other Chromium-based browsers like Opera and Microsoft Edge could soon follow suit too. Although it is not specified, Edge began disabling uBlock Origin back in February, and Opera could also stop the functioning of MV2 add-ons, even though it had committed to support MV2 for longer in October 2024. uBlock Origin developer Raymond Hill (gorhill) apparently stated the following: "For Opera I did submit 1.70.0 rather late, but this was weeks ago. A while ago I received an email from Opera that they plan to abandon MV2-based extension so maybe they are no longer allocating resources for reviewing such extensions." The email which developers like Gorhill mentions was received from Opera last year. Here is what it seemingly said: Hence for now the only Chromium browser that seems to be on-board fully with MV2 support is Brave, and perhaps Vivaldi as well. Meanwhile if you want to ditch Chromium browsers entirely then Mozilla Firefox is an excellent alternative as MV3 and MV2 are both supported. Of course the easiest solution is to switch to uBlock Origin Lite if you want to remain on Chrome, as it is MV3-based, but from our experience, uBO Lite does not seem to be as good as the original non-Lite version. In addition, we have an ad-free subscription for $28 a year, which is another way to show support!
