Coldgunner
DOA sucks ass, Soul Calibur is unbalanced and the last few iterations of Tekken were crap. Tekken Tag ftw!

Andrew Lyle Global Moderator Posted October 10, 2008 Global Moderator Share Posted October 10, 2008 Yeah ! ###### or GTFO ! :D +1 Another game falls! Exclusives are a thing of the past now... That tactic was so last gen. Companies only see the money, and possibility of a sequel (meaning they keep their jobs) rather then a quick pay off
Dark Raider
This is great news! It seems that except for Sony only games, Xbox 360 has everything that was exclusive on Playstation from before.

Emn1ty
Good news that another exclusive game taken away from Sony! But Tekken is crap to be honest. DOA ----------------------------------------- Average ---------> Tekken I personally hate DOA merely because it is overcomplicated. I have been playing Tekken much more and feel it is easier and overall more intuitive. These are all just opinionated arguments anyways, so I think we can drop this at the "opinion" stage. :: yawn :: who cares? dont get me wrong, I love Tekken for the characters and story (and yes there is one! lol) but the last 3 games felt and looked EXACTLY the same and from what i saw from this teaser not much has changed int hei iteration either! That happens in fighting games. If the game changes too much, die-hard fans leave since they hate not being able to use old tactics on a new game. Besides, new players will always think the game is new anyways. Some games should stay the same while others shouldn't. Fighting games have a core system that I feel should always remain the same to maintain balance and the soul of the game. SC4 did not follow that, and now we have an unbalanced spamfest of an online community. Oh well, looking forward to the Tekken demo if it ever has one. Master Ryu
Ughh..why can't game studios/publishers just say the real reason why they would turn a previously exclusive game into a multiplatform one?: money. If they wanted the game to be enjoyed by more people, Tekken would've been multiplatform years ago. Now, it's just not smart to release a game on just one console, and the PS3 at that. We all know this is a financial decision. They could've just sugar-coat and say something like "Releasing Tekken 6 on the XBOX 360, in addition to the PS3, is a business decision. It would allow us to reach a broader audience, which increases our revenue potential." I see no shame for a game company to be honest and say things like this. After all, it's all about the mula. It's a norm in other industries. Nevertheless, Street Fighter > Tekken, and therefore SF4 will > T6.

omganinja
I want a new tekken game for the PS3. I know theres a new one on PSN but when you're stuck using 3G wireless broadband because you have no other alternative its more expensive to download the game than it would be to actually buy it. -Hiroshi-
Man, Tekken on a non Sony console, hard to believe they lost that exclusive, Tekken was a Playstation powerhouse back in the day. This, on top of them losing Final Fantasy is making the PS3 seem like they're not doing as well as they had hoped.. At least they still have Little Big Planet and Metal Gear Solid 4.
