Crystal Orb on GPU Blue Orb on northbridge I've done some small mods here and there to it. Added two potentiometers to the from part for fan speed control. Added 3 leds to the front for KB indicators (my wireless KB doesn't have LEDs on it). Removed the grill from the PSU and cleaned it up with some Dremeling. Etc. So yeah. I'll be adding/mod'ing a 120mm fan to the bottom of the PSU (the fan is comming with my other parts I ordered) to improve airflow in the PSU and also help the CPU exhaust even more heat. :)

ToastGodSupreme
Why so many fans? Does it get that hot? Do you OC it? Well, I prefer my system to run cool as possible. That, and I'm also doing preventative installing. My next upgrade is to an Athlon based system (same case though), and those are heat monsters. ;) So yeah. I'll probably be up to 9 fans once I do the upgrade. Since I'm getting an EPOX 8rda, I'll be sticking two vantec iceburgs on the north and south bridges, along with the 120mm fan being mod'ed into the bottom of my psu. :D Edit: Add to the fact that I'm living with my gf, who is a real penny pincher. Meaning very little AC during the summer. ;) So it does get a bit hot here. Hotter than I would prefer it to be...

I have that one Vantec, a case fan, and an AMD Fan running in my case. Passive airflow in the front, case fan out the back. I guess the way I have the AMD sitting in the case, it pulls some air through the upper spaces between the HD and DVD drive. My Vantec Fan sensor does not get detected by my MOBO, so I have to hook up the AMD fan that came with my Athlon. My Vantec fan works just fine, great infact. I have it hooked up to my chipset post, since I don't have a chipset fan. I get 34-42 temps. non-load/load It's good for me. Since I also face hot days too. b0se
Check sig for mine... I used to build my own, was fun for a while, then it got boring since Dell offer some kick-ass high-end PC's (waiting for flame) :) Can't be dealing with it anymore!

I know what you mean. But Dell doesn't give you standard specs so it is diffucult to upgrade your MOBO and still have the same peripherial components. I will stick with Custom built. I don't want some company holding me to their limitations.

For my celly, which is o/c'ed, I get 40C full load. It doesn't idle anymore since I ****** it up somehow when I tried to push it to 1.2Ghz (133FSB). It used to get like 29C idle. I'm lucky I didn't kill it all together. Jumps to 41C in the summer time. I have a feeling that the temp will drop at LEAST 2-3C with the new AX-7 I bought. Samoa
I just got a PCI Router Card. I plan to use it to connect with my laptop (when I get it) I just bought similiar model of the one I got for free. The power suppy circuit burnt out (I hope). So I plan to test it with my new battery, to see if it still works, what works. This PCI card has got me worried though, it comes with only a CD for homenetworking. It is a trial version? I hope I can still use it without the software.
