crazzyyfool
Hi, I'm after some monitoring tools similar to how MenuMeters works on OSX. Something that sits in the Vista taskbar would be ideal. What would you guys recommend? Nick.
Skulltrail-old
Good ol' perfmon! (Reliability and Performance Monitor) Type "perfmon" in your Start Menu's search bar and hit ENTER. Displays CPU, memory, hard drive, and network info Edited October 12, 2008 by Skulltrail
ralph_tran
Notebook Hardware control does this, but it hasn't been updated since May 2007. http://www.pbus-167.com/ I know there is a program called RMClock that does the same thing, but also allows you to modify clock speeds. Kami-
No. But I might now. :) I'd recommend it, as it does alot more than just usage stats, embedded onto your desktop, exactly how you want it :)
Knife Party
Rainmeter is also worth a try, go on DA and search for 'simplicity' or 'HUD' in the rainmeter section
ArmedMonkey
I used samurize for a long time but finally stopped because I find it a bit (way) too buggy and clunky if you try to do anything more than basic with the skins. I use CPU and Network meter gadgets from here: http://addgadget.com/ (sidebar) they work well, but I wish I didn't have to have speedfan running for the temperatures to go.
