RAID 0
Mr Spoon You would be SO fired for posting that thing, but my sympathy is strong because you don't have access to such tasty treats.
+orgitnized Subscriber¹ Posted October 13, 2008 Subscriber¹ Share Posted October 13, 2008 Yeah, makes the burgers in the UK look rather boring: These are the burgers you eat 10 of before a heavy night of drinking ;)
VidER
We don't have enough "gourmet" burger restaurant here. Mostly fast food junk. I guess Johnny Rockets is the only one that stands out: VidER
Jason S. Global Moderator Posted October 14, 2008 Global Moderator Share Posted October 14, 2008 Yeah, makes the burgers in the UK look rather boring: that is an abomination :p surely there's SOME place in the UK that makes a tasty burger
Chicane-UK Veteran Posted October 14, 2008 Veteran Share Posted October 14, 2008 There are "gourmet" type burger places around but they do charge a premium. To be honest I like McDonalds on the very rare occasions I want a burger. You know what you're getting, they're normally pretty consistent and only a complete whale doesn't feel satisfied with a Big Mac and a large fries.. and maybe some chicken nuggets on the side :D
Dick Montage
Yeah it annoys me that we dont have any real 'burger' places in the UK, just McDonalds and co. I have been to a few!
Crompee
I have been to a few! lies, post some pics then! I dont think anywhere in the UK does a burger to rival any of the pictures posted in this thread :(

Mostly fast food junk.I guess Johnny Rockets is the only one that stands out: VidER Johnny Rockets is not bad. There's one in Downtown Sacramento, in the mall. I've been there a few times, but it doesn't come close (IMHO) to a "mom and pop" burger joint. As far as chain burger joints, In-N-Out is by far the best in California. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YxyIvU5eB-k What do you think? And Why can't I add inline youtubes? VidER I would never eat that.
vincent
If one is ever in Seattle, go to the Earth & Ocean restaurant in the W hotel, there $10 burger is expensive but worth every cent. Also the Rosebud up the way from there on Capitol Hill has awesome Buffalo burgers.

Dick Montage
Lies? OK, Handmade Burger Co for one. A Wagu meat burger join in Putney for two. The Big Easy in Chelsea for three.

4CxbqFxVnstmA Veteran Posted November 2, 2008 Veteran Share Posted November 2, 2008 In-and-Out Burger in California (an now other states, as well). I think they are good but I still can make a better one cheaper and easier. If I had to go to a fast food place it would be In-And-Out. :D

Lqv2015
Definitely In-N-Out It's been almost a year since I've had some. But I'll be back in SoCal this Christmas & kill myself with it. Usually I got for 2 DD animal style & animal style fries + Dr. Pepper.

Judging by the pics in that link, I'd have a hard time arguing against your claim. :D That place looks SO good. I'll have to look up Kua 'Aina next time I'm in L.A. I might drive out there just for a burger. Yeah, I'm that committed to finding the best burger. ;)
