Posted October 17, 2008 Share Posted October 17, 2008 i installed clamav & the gui front clamtk on ubuntu. i know how to fully scan my pc but should i enable quarantine as well ? i ran a scan last night and it said i had 4 viruses, how can i tell if there not just false positives ? Have you tried Trend Micro's "housecall" online scanner? It works on Linux. Also, you can do a sudo apt-get install avast4workstation to install Avast (command line) and/or avastgui for a GUI scanner.
