Lechio
Try the Knoppix DVD, it has allot of drivers inside the DVD. If that specific driver doesn't come with it go here: http://www.highpoint-tech.com/ to the support section, Linux drivers are there. Download and install them on a Knoppix Live DVD, load the module and it's ready for work.
ViZioN
fake raid ?? as in software raid ? Yes :) I'm not sure what ones support fake RAID. I think it can be done with ubuntu, but I don't think its easy. Remember seeing a link on it when i was trying to dual boot with my RAID vista. Ended up putting ubuntu on my external HDD instead. markwolfe Veteran Posted October 26, 2008 Veteran Share Posted October 26, 2008 Mostly, they don't. The problem isn't which "distro", but the Linux libATA It isn't really going to be different from distro to distro.
