Xtreme2damax
I'm having a bit of an issue on my laptop with being able to access the cheats console for Crysis Warhead. I added -devmode to the shortcut and while devmode works I am unable to bring up the cheats console. On my desktop PC I can bring up the cheats console without problems, but not on my laptop. I've tried hooking up an external usb keyboard to my laptop to see if it was a problem with my laptop keyboard, but I still had the same problem. I heard that if your PC has an IR Receiver it can cause problems with accessing the console in Crysis/Warhead. My laptop has a receiver for a remote for dvd playback and accessing Windows Media Center. So I tried uninstalling/disabling that device which didn't help. Ayepecks
I have the same problem on my desktop (getting the console to open to mess around), and I never found an answer for it... good luck. Had the problem since Crysis was released, have the problem with Warhead as well.
Xtreme2damax
Yeah I hope there is a solution because my laptop can play Crysis fairly well which has an ATI Radeon 3200 HD compared to my desktop pc which has a crappy integrated Geforce 6150LE and runs Crysis/Warhead like a slide show. Ayepecks
Quite honestly, I don't know that there is. I've tried everything on my desktop -- different keyboards, different inputs, etc.
Xtreme2damax
Is there any threads on the official Crysis forums/EA forums related to this issues, has anyone reported the issue to Crytek/EA? This issue seems to be happening on certain setups, something must be conflicting with the ability to bring up the console on some PC's. After some reading and lengthy Google searches I found that if your PC has an IR receiver hooked up it may prevent you from accessing the cheats console in Crysis/Warhead. Well since my laptop has an IR/Infrared receiver for DVD/Music playback and Windows Vista media center I then decided to uninstall or disable the device which still doesn't help. Ayepecks
Believe me, I've looked on Crytek and EA's forums, along with the leading fansites. There are forum topics on them, but they never resolved the issue for me, and I tried everything that was posted.
Xtreme2damax
It was really hard for me to find anything related to the problem on Google, the ir receiver issue was the only one I found, I'm unsure if I used incorrect search terms or what. It would really help to know some of the solutions because one of them might apply to me and help me solve the problem even if it didn't help your particular problem. :)
Ayepecks
Just search the official forums and fansites -- there are quite a few topics about it. I don't have them bookmarked anymore.
Xtreme2damax
I've tried and wasn't able to find much.... Is there any other way to give yourself all of the weapons short of using the map editor? The trainers I've found doesn't seem to have an option to give all weapons or the TACGun. :(
Alpha Drone
I don't know if this applies to your situation but- I had to disable my Infrared receiver to get the console to work in Crysis Warhead (and others, such as Oblivion). Once I disabled it, the console (and cheats) worked fine.

There is no bios option on my laptop to do this and every time I try to uninstall the driver/device, Vista automatically re-installs it. :s

Left Gangster
In my device manager (I use Vista Home Premium), I right click on the IR entry, and select "Disable". I uninstalled the IR reciever, launched Crysis and the console was working! Thanks!
