TruckWEB
I try each new release of Kubuntu and OpenSUSE (because I prefer KDE). I'm still looking, I'd love to switch, but I find myself falling back to Windows. I have my Macbook with OS X, and I can do everything inside OS X, use MS Office 2008, Photoshop, use the iLife suit. It's all native apps. I can do the same with Windows. But I'm still looking for the same kind of quality software for Linux WITHOUT using Wine / Codeweaver / Cedega to "emulate" something else in order to use my softwares/games. The OS is one thing, but I'm not working with the OS, I'm working/playing with software that can run on that OS. At least I try... I download every ISO of new release, try to love it... Elv13
Forget about the game without wine/cedega, but what exactly are you problem with other software? Gimp = crap, but did you try krita2 or pixel (demo)? About iLife, digikam is bettr than iPhoto, cinelerra is closer to final cut than iMovie but is far more powerfull, iWeb, well, it is useless, amarok is better than iTunes for a lot of things. The only iLife apps that have no real linux alternative is garageband. Hydrogen, rosegarded, wired and lmms are good, but they should unite into 2 apps to reach garageband. And ardour is just too big and have less midi capabilities.

Behemoth
I changed again - I had a couple of guys at work recommend openSUSE as an alternative to Ubuntu, and I was hesitant to change at first. I decided to give it a go, and so far, I like it alot - very fast compared to ubuntu 8.xx, and YaST is very easy for configuration/administration. So for the record it has been Ubuntu > Mandriva > Fedora > Ubuntu > Xubuntu > Fedora > Ubuntu > openSUSE. I think I have found one that I can call 'home'. :D
Kreuger
I only used a few before settling on Ubuntu but I still play around with others just for fun.
