scuzzilla
i'd like to change the visual style of the ctrl + alt + del menu back to the 2k / xp style. sadly i haven't found anything within the system options and my google research hasn't discovered anything useful as well. :/ how i'd like to have it how it's looking right now i've tried almost everything and am sort of stuck with it right now - the current machine has 1 user only (don't know if it makes a difference but couldn't get it working on my multi-user machines either). any help is appreciated. :)

Andrew Lyle Global Moderator Posted November 2, 2008 Global Moderator Share Posted November 2, 2008 Only way to bring up the task manager is to Ctrl + Shift + Esc
Malskazz
I find it easier just to rightclick the taskbar and select Task Manager
Panda X
Simply not possible. Actually it is. You'd just need to spend a few weeks creating it from the AuthUI.dll's UIFiles. Hell one guy even added animations to the Logon screen that way. And modified the Security thing.

Yes, but it's very time consuming process... so unless it's actually required 100% I wouldn't waste time doing it.
