Tin Man
Ubuntu, and i removed UFW Okay, your choices are up edit Shorewall or Firestarter, odds are it's Shorewall. Check and see if it's installed by seeing if /etc/init.d/shorewall exists.

Yeah definitely pick one firewall or another, but dont try to run two at the same time, confusion can occur. vincent
Install firestarter, run it and open those ports.BTW: You still have ufw installed. I've now made sure it is uninstalled, and have not installed firestarter or anything else. What else could it be? Is it IPtables? If so, how can i configure it? Lechio
By installing firestarter. Firestarter allows you to configure the firewall rules.
vincent
What are the settings in firestarter to allow this? I don't see a section for forwarding ports..
