Andrew Lyle Global Moderator Posted March 26, 2009 Global Moderator Share Posted March 26, 2009 Do you have to have X number of posts to qualify for any position or just be an MVC? Being an MVC is not based on post count.. nor is being any part of the staff :s Just aslong as your an active user on the forums. MVC is exactly what it means, Most Valued Contributor and you need to demonstrate you are helpful around the forums.

Good. I don't think it should be, as it would spawn spam. I was just wondering as it seems a lot of the staff have very high post counts. look at Rappy! I was just wondering as it seems a lot of the staff have very high post counts. look at Rappy! That's because most of us have been around here for a long time, and have tried our best to contribute to the forums and help people; hence why we're on staff in the first place. Rappy is no longer on staff.

Denis W. Veteran Posted March 27, 2009 Veteran Share Posted March 27, 2009 Stop poking on poor Rappy. Do you have to have X number of posts to qualify for any position or just be an MVC? Post count or join date don't really matter. Biggest factor is what others in the community think of you. Are you an arse? Do you try to act like a pseudo mod or hold many fights with staff members? That won't really get you anywhere. Best thing to do is just be helpful and positive, and keep your fingers crossed. :)
