This came from Keldin's sig rules but wouldn't it partly go towards the avatars too?

As for content considered inappropriate if the sig is overly distracting, ie. bright flashing colors, animated sigs (ie gifs/flash)

Just posting to let you know. ;)

Speaking of flash - when I make text fade etc it doesnt work right. In my avatar i had to use individual images for each colour change :woot: ....

I must be doing something wrong, any1 know of this problem?

|| This is what im doing ||

I type the text in my flash document.

I make two key-frames, one for start and one for end.

I then make a motion tween between the two key frames.

I then click on the last keyframe for the text.

I set its (the text) properties to be ALPHA=0.

I preview it within flash and the text fades normally.

But, when I publish my flash into .swf the text just doesnt fade (simply dissapears).

And the timing is wrong, seems quicker.

Could any1 help me?

aye...

when you type in your text...select it and go to "convert to symbol" ...then convert it to a graphic. make sure its a graphic on both keyframes. if you want it to fade in and then fade out...your gonna need at least 3 keyframes

first one set alpha to 0

second one set alpha to 100

third one set alpha to 0

if that doesnt solve your prob, then i dont know.
