Question about loading Flash movies

Question

I just finished making a Flash presentation of sorts, with a lot of speech in it, so it's around 1500KB.

I want this movie to be able to start playing as soon as the first scene is done loading, so the user doesn't have to wait for the whole thing to load.

Does this happen automatically or do I need to set a certain option for the movie to do this?

I can't tell from my computer because of my broadband connection.

Please help ASAP! Thanks.

Well, it does do it automatically, but you won't see any loading bar or anything. It will just be a blank screen while the user sits there and waits for it to load.

I suggest you make a load bar. I can't be bothered explaining it all to you so I'll give you a link to a tutorial. http://www.flashkit.com/tutorials/Actionsc...n-668/index.php and http://www.flashkit.com/tutorials/Actionsc...D-760/index.php

You can also test it at modem speeds by hitting CTRL + Enter to test it and then hitting CTRL + Enter again. This will test it streaming with any speed you choose. You can select the speed by going to the Debug menu.
