Nick Sheldon
Does anybody know if there is such software available? I see there is one for the PS3. Would be great to make your own themes.

Kushan
Sadly, there's no such way to make "proper" themes for the 360 =\
SuperJediMedia
Because MS's Greedy business practices simply wouldn't allow it! Advent
Well we use to be able to make our own on the old 360 dash, yet that took a while to figure out how to do and get down. No I'm not talking about pressing (Y). I mean 4 blades and guide background. I would imagine it wont take too long for people to figure out. After all, we've allready found out how to go back to the old blades and back to NXE, like a on off switch excpet more work :( But yeah, haha. Advent
On the old dashboard if you had a transfer kit or an xport/xsata you could take your theme file and hex the images to different ones, then resign your theme file and put it back on to your Xbox and profit. haha. It was such a pain to hex it all and everything though. I only did a few themes with my friends and then we said screw it. The old dashboard switching also requires a transfer kit or xport/xsata but it seems to be only a temporary fix, as it will update again with a reboot. I haven't done this yet but quite a few people have over at Xbox-Scene. I stay in the gamesaving, flashing, 360 exploiting community because I find interest in it and I dunno haha, it's just fun to find all these different things out about console that decides to stay so closed :( @ MS. I checked with my friend and he says not to hold your breath on custom NXE themes. I think it's because of the friends list and the 3d models behind your avatars. Like the cars, etc. But I'm fine with the current themes, they're way better then the ones for the old dashboard. Alright, good night. Hope I was some help. Edit: Also, sorry for the low post count. It does bug me that I'm not more active on Neowin. I think I will be after xmas though. :)
Nick Sheldon
Blummin heck I forgot all about this thread. Cheer for the replies peeps. and @shakey_snake: Why does that matter? The PS3 aint a computer either, and they can make custom themes. I would just like the option of customising it to my own tastes. Theres loads of thing you could do. Heck you could even put photos of your own rooms as avatar backgrounds...etc
