shakey_snake
Can we have a temporary subforum for all the anti-Christmas News articles to go similar to how the Elections subforum? stuff like this: https://www.neowin.net/forum/index.php?show...=702260&hl= There's always an absolute f***load of these articles and they always elict a lot of bantering about the "true meaning" of Christmas. Can't we just separate them for the next month and a half?
nmesisca
I would just abolish it tbh. If you cant be a decent person with the people that are around you on a 'normal' day, you cant be one on christmas day either. Lucky I dont have kids ;)

Lucky I dont have kids ;) If you don't like it, fine, don't celebrate. But don't ruin this time of the year for others. Personally, it is my favorite time of the year; a time to celebrate the birth of my Lord and Savior, be with family & friends, be thankful for all the good things we have, and help close out the year. I love the sight, sounds, the food, the decorations, and sheer spirit of this time of the year. Abolish Christmas (or the many other holidays that take place at the same time)? Only if you want to see a lot of heads roll, because I'm not the only one who feels that way about this time of the year. Florida University should bow their heads in shame. Why should we hide our beliefs and traditions because you don't like it. Last time I checked, we still had something called freedom of religion, though I suppose these days that applies to everyone except us Christians. The sad state of our society sickens me to no end... :(

You can go out and spend all the money you like for presents and stuff. Im not blocking you in any way. And I do not think I am the only one that thinks xmas has been going a bit too crazy in the past few years. Bottom line is.. go create a Pro-xmas thread and post there. I'm not trolling, I'm stating my opinion, which supports Christmas. Like the OP said, read the first post. ;) To the OP: sorry; didn't mean to invade on your forum request. Things like this just fire me up; it sounds like some people support only anti-Christmas discussion (and bans, etc.) with no regard to those of us who cherish this time of year. I meant no disrespect to you, my friend.
