No doubt it is made Gold accounts, as they know alot of people have silver accounts for USA, and can get hold of point cards for the account, but not many people will also have Gold Subscription aswell as their normal account.

uk always gets shafted!

Well in all fairness, it's not our holiday this week lol.

I don't know of many companies that offer black Friday deals outside of the US. Apple is the only other that comes to mind.

Well yeah, but it's the same service, the same products and the same currency. If Microsoft is celebrating a holiday, you'd think they'd hold a decent party for it.

Heard Rez HD was a pretty good game, so when I saw the deals, I thought that I'd use up my rest of points to get it.

Sucks it's US only, so I'll have to buy more points. I hate credit cards, so I'll hop to the store and get more points.

Edit: From Major Nelson, it looks like there will be deals for all regions starting in December. Great news! It won't be this stuff most likely, but it's good that they will start to spread the sales.

well, if they listened to people like you they would have nonstop sales because of all the holidays around the world.

get Rez, it's sweet. Will prob be picking up Assault Heroes, never got around to really playing it aside from the demo.

and yeah, i'm all for a fully global Xbox experience, but black friday is really a US institution. it's not noted anywhere else.

Sure, but it's not as if MS is jumping to do sales for those holidays in other countries. Infact the only one I remember us having here was that global one that had Shivering Isles, Mass Effects DLC ect as part of it.

It would have been nice if they either let other countries in on the US sales or alternatively once or twice a year did something for other regions. I mean it's just DLC, I can't see whats exactly stopping them despite Major Nelsons excuse that it's "due to a lot of issues". I really doubt that, especially if they managed that previous global one that wasn't in conjunction with any holiday.

Not that I'm too fussed, none of that content interest me anyway. ATM I'd rather they actually got the video store happening here. No idea what happened to that.
