GreenMartian
Well, put it this way: If he doesn't ask, he has 0% chance of getting anything. If he asks, he'll get slightly higher odds of getting stuff. 0.0001 is still >

ScorpioRGc1
You really think they owe you? You give them money, they give you product. Balanced exchange of trade with no deficit. So neither party 'owes' the other anything. Now, if you're banking on MS just being generous...good luck. That tends to only extend to schools in need of computers Gate's charity. ;) i loled at when you got your friends to buy a xbox 360 instead of a ps3 lmfao how did you do that? :D The Force can have a strong influence on the weak-minded. :D Though since he convinced them to get a 360, it was easily the dark side. ;)
Smashing Pumpkin
They may send you something, I doubt it will be anything of any use though. Maybe if u make a big deal about it all over the net if u get nothing they will send you something :p or run away because of it... ...nah that kid died, bad joke, I'm sorry. winrez
They are VERY GENEROUS considering microsoft gives all of their software away for free to non profits. Not so they still charge administration fees such as $5 for a lic of Vista I run a charity to donate PC's to the needy ;)

Matrix XII
You never hear about that in general, they are massive companies. I've heard of MS giving dying children consoles, but that's about it.
pepsihabbit
I recall a story of a guy who sent in his 360 for repairs and it had a signature on it and they sent it back without the signature lol. Microsoft then sent him one with tons of signatures on it from them and bungie. that was pretty cool
Matrix XII
^ Wow that's good to hear, pretty cool indeed (Y) I like hearing stuff like that because these companies are so rich, what's giving a free console to some kid.
Inctye
You never hear about that in general, they are massive companies.I've heard of MS giving dying children consoles, but that's about it. All the issues about their products overshadow what MS and the like do behind the scenes. MS in particular gets less credit than they deserve given their legal/industry wranglings over the years. But I certainly think perceptions have changed on MS ever since they made the bid for Yahoo earlier this year.
_dandy_
I've heard of MS giving dying children consoles, but that's about it. Hey now, there's lots of dead Xboxes out there (RROD and all), but that doesn't make it a console for children...

Please. You must have a very skewed view of the world. Having loads of money does not automatically mean they're "the most greedy company on the planet". Like any for-profit organization, Microsoft is looking to keep its shareholders happy first and foremost, but they're not exactly tightwads. You want cutthroat f*cks, look no farther than WalMart.
