jaxius
Is it worth it turn on the SRS TruSurround XT and Auto Volume? When I turn the SRS on, on high stuff the speakers "vibrate"; "sound blown"... everything is better when i turn it off. I have this hooked up to regular digital cable; a motorola dct2524 and a pioneer dvd recorder/player.. using rca cables and cable coaxial. I have everything in homemade armoire made of plywood i think. would that make a difference? Would the sound change with hd digital cable and correct hd cables? As you can notice I am new to HD... Thanks, Jaxius Edited December 1, 2008 by jaxius

OrangesOfCourse
i have a Samsung A550 40" LCD and was having the same issue. The tv speakers don't have a good bass response so they tend to make a blown out sound. Try the following settings: http://www.avsforum.com/avs-vb/showthread....39#post13670739 They worked well for most things for me. I know its not for the same model but worth a try.
