StarLion
Nice, but considering the boot screen is limited to 16 colors and is only visible for about 20 seconds (at most, on a slow machine), the only skin I could see myself using is a color variation of the existing scroll bar (possibly with the copyright text removed to make it even more minimalist). Guess I'm just not a fan of dithering :p
Island Dog
Vista bootskins are a higher resolution than they are on XP. :)
-Hiroshi-
Sounds like a cool concept, I'd try it out if my boot screen wasn't so short.. we're talking about 10 seconds before the Vista boot screen flips by on my machine.
StarLion
Vista bootskins are a higher resolution than they are on XP. :) How much better are we talking here? What resolution and bit depth does Vista support for its boot screen?
