Si_
Hey, I have a centos 5.2 image running within VMware. At the moment it has a 8gb disk, and I want to to extend this out by increasing the size of the virtual hard drive. In windows I could just increase the virtual HD, then increase the partition, 30sec job done. I can't for the life of me figure out how to do the same in centos 5.2, it doesn't seem to come with any partition managing tool and googling is giving me pages of code I can't decipher. Any assistance would be much appreciated
markwolfe Veteran Posted December 2, 2008 Veteran Share Posted December 2, 2008 If you have already taken care of things from the VMware side of things, then (as you said) you need to adjust your Linux side. I believe CentOS uses LVM disk management. I am not familiar with it, but I think you should look for something in your system that deals with that.
