Bloodwork
I have installed the Murrine theme engine with the RPM from the Fedora Core website. The package manager shows it as checked and installed and the file name also shows as the engine for FC10. I properly unpacked the Dust theme to /usr/share/themes/ and the theme appears in the Appearance Preferences window. The problem is when I apply the theme none of the controls are skinned except for the window borders and a message appears in the Appearance Preferences window that says "This theme will not look as intended because the required GTK+ theme engine '' is not installed." There is no name in between the quotes so I don't know what I can do to fix it and I would appreciate any ideas.
Fish
The original Dust theme needs to have the SVN version of the Murrine engine installed. I know this is the version that's in Ubuntu's repos, but you should check whether this is the case for Fedora. In any case, a quick search on Gnome-look turned this up - http://gnome-look.org/content/show.php/Dus...a?content=93505 Don't know if it's any help.... Bloodwork
Thanks Fish! I did a little Googling for Murrine SVN and found these instructions 1. Uninstalled old version of murrine engine2. svn checkout http://svn.gnome.org/svn/murrine/trunk/ murrine 3. cd murrine 4. ./autogen.sh --enable-animation 5. make 6. make install Had to also install subversion and intltool before those instructions would work but now everything is working great.
