furyshinobi
I am currently looking to buy an Xbox 360 in Australia and am wondering if the new Jasper chips are already out for the Pro model. I talked to one guy at EB and he told me the manufacturing date is September 23 2008 but I read somewhere that the new models arrive on October. So is it safe to buy a pro model now or should I continue to wait for the old stock to run out before I run out and get one? Sikh
No. The new chipsets are October and on. Let the old stock run out or look for a lot no of 810+. I just bought an elite manufactured in 10-30-08. it is INDEED the new chipset. From the beginning to the end(1st day left it on 16 hgours), it ran COOL. It works perfect and quiet as hell.
