devHead
When I want to save an image such as the one posted here how can I get Firefox to use the proper image name and extension instead of "index.php"? I would use Down Them All! for the images if Firefox can't snatch them correctly. Yeah, it seems kinda weird that it can't be downloaded from the new window. Andrew Lyle Global Moderator Posted December 5, 2008 Global Moderator Share Posted December 5, 2008 Okay, this is either a security measure or bug in IPB, but I found away around it. Click on the attachment, and it opens up in a new window. (this is where you can save index.php) right click and go to properties, and "Copy image location" Open up a new tab, and paste the URL, and save the image :)

Or he can't just save it with one click using DownThemAll. That just seems easier to me.

Joel
Thank you, Rube Goldberg for the suggestion. Or he can't just save it with one click using DownThemAll. That just seems easier to me. It's actually easier to just drag the image out of the browser.
p858snake
Also clicking F5 works, then you just go save as like normally and the name should be there
i_was_here
Thanks peachey. If I can remember to refresh, I think your method might be easiest for me.
