markwolfe Veteran Posted December 8, 2008 Veteran Share Posted December 8, 2008 Until you reboot? :ermm: If a process is hitting the CPU hard, then things should settle down a little after you close the app and the CPU temperature cools down. Can you monitor CPU usage and temp before you start IE and then see what changes when you start it. Then when you close it and the process is terminated, make sure that it isn't lingering and using CPU, and that the CPU temp starts to go back down.
