MeDieViL02 Posted December 9, 2008 Share Posted December 9, 2008 i removed linux again and deleted all partition, also made my windows partition the same size as previous but it didnt work after i installed suse linux my windows started working a lot slower, i'm sure it isnt a virus or spyware, it also first occured after i booted back into windows after installing linux i also noticed that windows started a drive scan before i got to the logon screen, it didnt find any errors tough Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

markwolfe Veteran Posted December 9, 2008 Veteran Share Posted December 9, 2008 Linux isn't slowing Windows down. Those are two separate partitions. It is possible you have a damaged filesystem, if you mucked with partitions. Do a thorough scan. It could also be possible that your swap space has been greatly reduced, if you were aggressive in your partitioning. Check your Windows virtual memory settings. You will probably get more help in the Windows sections, as this is not a Linux issue, and those guys over there will be able to help you with more specific checks.
