Wait what does != mean? I havent come across that yet for some reason...

!= means "not equal to" in programming language.

And you guys do realise Dead Space is Mature 18...

Ah thanks, thought so by reasoning though

Dead Space reminds me of Diablo for some reason lol, probably because diablo sortof frightened me back then and Dead Space totally doesn't

I just started playing dead space tonight, and it's intense lol, probably beacause I suck at third person games, if it was an fps It would be a breeze :)

Loads of good suggestions so thanks again guys - I should of mentioned that he bought the Amazon bundle (same as me!) that came with Kung Fu Panda, Lego Indiana Jones, PGR4 and Sega Superstar Tennis.

I went with Viva Pinata 2 in the end. It was only ?17 at Gamestation, which is a bargain considering the next best price was ?25. Also tempted by Burnout, but not sure as he has PGR and I don't know how much he's into racing games.

Already mentioned above, Lego series, which are all great games. My sisters (6 and 8 yrs old) play them religiously on my 360 (which I think RROD'd because they played all day  ). Uhh there is also things like Project Gotham Racing and Forza 2 (if my sisters can drive on Forza, your nephew defiantly could). Does he like sports? There is Madden, MLB 2009, Tony Hawk..

It all comes down to the age, is he more on the boy side or the adult side?

I don't have an XBox nor do I know a lot about game consoles but I play a lot of flash games and I've just remembered it was released on Xbox 360 ... Its Alien Humanoid and its designed by Tim Fulp (The owner of Newgrounds.com) and is very very enjoyable ... Its pretty cartoonish and the colors are very nice and the game play is very addictive. Its basically a platform run and shoot game where you will have to kill everyone in your way, This is the page of the game on Xbox http://www.xbox.com/en-US/games/a/alienhom...xboxlivearcade/

And there is also another game I think its by Tom Fulp too, Its called Castle crashers and its pretty fun too if you want to check it

Avoid this game at all costs.

I wouldn't even give it to my worst enemy to play :p

Is it really that bad? I was actually looking at that as a possible gift myself..

Banjo Kazooie or maybe even Halo (its a pretty tame fps when all is said and done).

If he's into fantasy at all maybe Fable 2 otherwise one of the lego games may be a good fit also.

Haha, I used to play diablo when I was younger and it was fine. But I can tell you if I was that age playing dead space, it probably would have just about scared me to death.

I guess lol, but a little scare is always good, dammnit Dead Space gives me major anxiety playing late at night :) I hate when you think your walking past a dead one and it pops up

Red Alert was my first owned computer game as the ones before I had played at a friends, so Red Alert 3 might be a good choice, or COD: WAW :). COD 1 was a favorite for me when it came out

For an 11 year old I would highly highly recommend Prince of Persia or Banjo Kazooie Nuts and Bolts.

Actually as far as Prince of Persia, that is the closest thing to an old school Mario or Sonic game

I'd say Banjo-Kazooie: Nuts and Bolts. I don't like the game, largely because I was really, really hoping for a "real" Banjo-Kazooie game, but I bet he'll like it.

The original is on XBLA if you didn't already know :)

Banjo Tooie is out next year as well.
