bishy
As usual Vlad Studio steal ideas from other people. The original was made by Harajukumatt and is available at his Deviantart site here http://harajukumatt.deviantart.com/art/ONE...SION-3-97960685 Don't settle for cheap copies when you can have the original. Mouldy Punk
I was going to say the concept looked familiar. Still looks good though.
+John. Subscriber¹ Posted December 15, 2008 Subscriber¹ Share Posted December 15, 2008 I kinda like this. I saw that dev by Harajukumatt first, though.
Titoist
the vlad one looks better. Though I prefer if it was available in a much larger scale. Both up there are still too small for my monitors to even look decent. A widescreen one would be decent too.
Kudos Veteran Posted December 15, 2008 Veteran Share Posted December 15, 2008 Who uses 4:3 anymore? Pay for widescreen? Fail. Go hawk your wares elsewhere.
Mouldy Punk
I still use 4:3...but at a much higher resolution - 1280*1024. 1024*768 is pretty retro these days :p Getting a widescreen monitor in the January sales though.
GreenMartian
As usual Vlad Studio steal ideas from other people. The original was made by Harajukumatt and is available at his Deviantart site here Oh please.. Using written words to produce images is an ancient art. This is more like a case of "inspired by" than "stolen from". Both are great in their own respect.
+Dick Montage Subscriber² Posted December 15, 2008 Subscriber² Share Posted December 15, 2008 Exactly, we saw numerous examples of this in art class at school. He stole nothing!
Vladstudio
To all - thanks for your comments! got any XP visual style to recommend with it that you use? Nope, cause I use Mac OS X :-) As usual Vlad Studio steal ideas from other people. The original was made by Harajukumatt and is available at his Deviantart site here bishy, I never saw artwork you mentioned. And as other visitors noticed, the idea is not really original. I cannot even tell what exactly inspired me. This idea was growing in me for quite a while. I still use 4:3...but at a much higher resolution - 1280*1024. 1024*768 is pretty retro these days :p Yeah, more sizes are here: http://www.vladstudio.com/wallpaper/?typographic_world_map Before you ask: yes, I make my living selling widescreen copies of my wallpapers :-) Thanks!
