My external IP?

Question

Knight'    0

Hi guys, hopefully you can help me out.

I'm trying to run a dedicated server, but I can't because I don't know my IP. I know my LAN ip, but it needs my external IP so the clients on the other end can connect to me. So, how do I find my IP? I've run ipconfig, but it only gives me my internal LAN ip. Can any1 help me out?

try to access your router (if you have one) by typing 192.168.0.1 into your browser (or wutever your router's local ip is). its software will tell ya your external ip :)

Lmao, only one of those got my IP right, http://checkip.dyndns.org:8245/ the others were wrong

There's not many that see through the transparent proxies some ISP's use. This one is at the top of my DirectUpdate list, ;)
