fatboyuk
Not sure whats going on really - I stream a few films from a media centre PC through my 360 but since I set it up a few films that worked fine through the old Xbox XBMC had sync issues with the audio, you know you see the mouth move then a second later the voice follows. Switched it on tonight and the sync problems have all gone away :s Has there been a sneaky update on the 360 or have the Christmas elves been tweaking the media centre PC?? Only checking as there have been no 'There is an update' messages when I switched on!
Andrew Lyle Global Moderator Posted December 20, 2008 Global Moderator Share Posted December 20, 2008 Not sure if they have, but I do notice games like Call of Duty: World At War can update on the fly, without having someone update, but that is games. I also noticed more cloths for my avatar being updated, without having to download anything, so it is possible for Microsoft to remove / add content without you agreeing to any download. DomZ
It was probably a network issue? Is your 360 wired or wireless? What about the server that's streaming them?
fatboyuk
Thats what I thought it was - network trouble (its a wired box as is the media centre box), but the sync issues appeared to go on for about a week and then suddenly come right. I am not complaining of course, just left scratching my head as to why it happened :)

Clothes are online content and aren't actually downloaded to the xbox, they're grabbed on the fly as needed.
neoadorable
never heard of invisible updates - but so long as it's working better, be happy!
